...we will hopefully be able to add another member to our family soon.
We have been trying to concieve our second child for going on three years now. We currently have a 6 year old daughter who we were able to get pregnant with fairly easily.
After a couple of months we got pregnant easily, but it ended in a chemical pregnancy around 5 weeks. During the weeks following my miscarriage I got pregnant again. Sadly, that ended also in an early miscarriage. After a couple of months we decided to go to a new doctor. He ran a couple of tests and everything came back normal. We tried for a whole year to naturally concieve, but then we were referred to a reproduction specialist.
After reviewing our tests, she perscribed me Clomid. After a couple of rounds we were able to get pregnant again, but after an ultrasound at 10 weeks we found out we had lost our baby. I had a series of bloodwork done for recurrent pregnancy loss and it was found that my thyroid levels were slightly elevated. I am continuing using Clomid and Merformin and we will hopefully be able to add another member to our family soon.
